Its longevity is also ensured by its international establishment as a standardized exchange load carrier and the nationwide network of certified repairers. The EPAL Euro pallet has remained a successful model since its market launch in 1961.
DPL pooling business model
The open DPL pooling system optimizes logistics processes on the basis of such proven and innovative load carriers. Through the intelligent use of state-of-the-art IT technology, coupled with our unique know-how built up over decades, we avoid emissions and conserve resources. Among other things, we achieve this by eliminating and massively reducing truck transports and optimizing the flow control of available load carrier qualities.

From the very beginning, our goal was to make the exchange of load carriers virtually unnecessary throughout the market. The essential basis for this are:

Sustainability at DPL
Consciously insect-friendly green areas complement the grounds away from our work areas. The use of rainwater to clean our facilities, water recovery in our truck wash and comprehensive recycling are also part of our sustainable approach.
We use motor vehicles and industrial trucks with electric, hybrid and gas drives. Our business premises and buildings are modern and energy-efficient. Among other things, we use renewable energies through the use of photovoltaic systems.
